Tim went to his Australia Post interview today. He passed with flying colours once again. Apparently it was all the same questions that he was asked as part of his initial telephone interview. He was only there for 20 minutes and then it was over. Next, has to go back and do a speed test to see if he can sort letters within a certain amount of time.

My interview with The Leader was published today. Here it is on page 26.

The photo looks much better in context with the article. When Tim showed the article to his parents they both said ‘When did they take that photo?’ and ‘That’s a good photo they took of Sarah’. Tim replied “I took that photo!”. Before that he was a bit miffed that no-one had really commented on the photo J Eva the journalist seems to have ‘got’ what the business is about and has translated it well into print. Thanks Eva!

Oh and also I was asked today by Lori at Double Edge PR if I would be happy to act as a ‘spokesperson’ for the Stitches & Craft Show. They want to put me forward for radio interviews, casting me as a young cool chick with the message that crafting isn’t just for oldies. We’ll see what comes of that one!

I wonder what the future will hold with this show. I wonder if all the effort I’ve put into preparing products etc will be worth it in the end. I have spent out quite a lot of money on display panels and display equipment and printing. Also a lot of time has gone into the preparation. The proof will be in the pudding in about 3 week’s time!

All this talk of publicity and I’m thinking of what I might be able to do next to get more ‘free’ publicity. Tim says that I need to become a media whore to get my company out there and get more people into sewing and making handbags. Any ideas?
