We’ve been in the flat now for 3 weeks or so. Surprisingly, I am really enjoying it living here. It is small, yes, and we have to make good use of space – so I ordered this bathroom rack from Decorating Heaven. 

It’ll make use of the redundant space we have on that wall. We don’t have a linen cupboard in the flat so our clean towels and bed covers are homeless at the moment.

While I was online I was trawling through various homewares sites for ideas on what to buy my family for Christmas. The problem is that I see nice things that I wouldn’t mind getting for myself and for our house in Tasmania. I particularly love thes Pantone mugs from Loft Homewares (pity they’re $20 each!):

I was thinking about buying these stoneware Banana leaf bowls and platters from Peters of Kensington a couple of months ago. They’re nice and reasonably priced.
