I was contacted yesterday by the Lori at Double Edge PR who handles the publicity for the Stitches & Craft Show. They’ve arranged with Eva, a journalist at The Leader, to contact me for some information she is doing on a fashion feature in the paper. It might seem weird but I wasn’t all that excited about it – I’ve actually already been through The Leader experience – or should I say NEARLY went through The Leader experience. A couple of years ago a journalist and a photographer from The Leader came to my house and interviewed me about my business, but I never heard a peep back from them. I went to so much trouble to have everything looking just right as well. They liked the completed bags that I had made that were in my craft room but I don’t think they really ‘got’ what the business is all about. Maybe they were too confused about it all and put it in the too hard basket. Oh well, at least they were impressed by all of Tim’s treasures that are on display in our house.
Anyway, Eva wanted some photos of me to use in her article so today Tim took some photos of me which personally I think turned out okay – it was at short notice and of course we don’t have professional lighting at our house. Its not at all the best one from the bunch but at least if this photo gets published I won’t be recognised!:
