Daffodils in full bloom
The daffodils that I mentioned earlier are now in full bloom.

I really do like the daffs but I can’t understand why the previous owners just scattered the bulbs randomly in the garden beds. It’s kind of annoying because we have to clear the beds to get rid of the weeds and grasses which have overtaken the beds so that we can plant some nice flowers and shrubs, but on the other hand we don’t necessarily want to say goodbye to the daffodils. But I really can’t have bulbs laying in the bed when we plant the new plants. I will probably dig the bulbs out when they have finished blooming and then I’ll plant them somewhere more appropriate.
We recently purchased a compost bin from Bunnings. I look in there regularly and it seems to be going along nicely. Every 2 or 3 weeks I turn it over a bit and add some new worms that I dig out when I am clearing the garden beds. There’s about 30 worms currently in the compost. I hope they like it in there!
